Mount Your TomTom GPS EasyPort Suction Mount to Your Windshield

When you first receive a new EasyPort mount it sometimes requires a few attempts to get it to suction initially.  Please follow our instructions and video below and attempt it a number of times until it mounts.  Because of the nature of the suction mechanism it has to be “broken in” until it properly seals.

  1. Remove the film from the back of the new suction mount.
  2. Unfold the mount and turn it in a counterclockwise motion.
  3. Place both of your thumbs in the middle of the mount and press it against your windshield.
  4. Turn it in a clockwise motion until it sticks.

You can purchase this TomTom EasyPort Mount from us.

How to Install a Guitar Hero Drum Pedal Replacement Cable

Below are instructions and a video we created on how to install our new replacement cable into a Guitar Hero or Band Hero drum pedal. Works on Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock and Band Hero pedals.

  1. Unscrew all of the screws on the bottom of the pedal to gain access to the pedal cable.
  2. Use a screwdriver or other tool to prop up the bottom cover and keep the pedal open.
  3. Remove the sensor.
  4. Pull the old cable off of the sensor the best you can.
  5. Solder the red wire of the new cable to the exterior steel of the sensor.
  6. Solder the copper wire to the center plate of the sensor.
  7. Once it is soldered, replace the sensor back into the pedal.
  8. You can use hot glue over the solder points to secure it nice and firm to the pedal.
  9. Also, you can glue the wire to the pedal where it exits the pedal to help prevent it from pulling out.
  10. Close the pedal and tighten all the screws.
