Demo PS3 Firmware Ver. 3.60

We are currently working on discovering the unlock code for version 3.60 Demo PS3 units. As soon as we find this code, we will post it here on our blog.

We are currently working on the code, which has 9,999 code possibilities. We have already tried 2,000-2,999; 5,000-5,300; 7,000-7,999; 8,000-8,300. If anyone else has tried a series of numbers, please post them here, so we don’t try the same series of numbers that others have already tried.

Demo PS3 Unlock Codes

For those of you who have purchased our Demo Playstation 3 or have acquired one from someplace else, you will need to unlock your Demo PS3 in order to have full control of features and change any settings.

To disable your PS3 Demo system, go to the XMB and down to Security Settings. While the Security Settings is highlighted (do not push X yet) press L1+R1+Select+Square all at the same time. It will ask for a 4 digit code. Use the code listed below for the firmware version that you have on your PS3. The first set of numbers is for the firmware number and the last set of 4 digits is the code for disabling.

Note: although this disables the demo mode you will have to re-enter this number each time you restart your Playstation if you want to change settings.

The cable itself is not hard to install, the largest part of the time required to install it is to open and close the case and remove the screws.
